Special Areas

Lawyers for Special Areas

Eurasia is the term for the geographical area that consists of Europe and Asia. We combine the knowledge of these markets with our expertise of the different Dutch and international jurisdictions. Through this unique combination we are able to provide the full service to Eurasian businesses and individuals.

As an enterprise operating within these sectors, you can come across all kinds of difficult legal issues. After all, these sectors never stand still, they are actively evolving. Our lawyers are experts the fields these sectors cross and can provide your enterprise with legal advice or assistance, for example on product liability.

Although a dispute causes emotions to run high, with the result that both parties do not see a solution anymore, at Law & More we believe that a joint solution that satisfies all parties involved can be found through mediation. In this process the Law & More mediators not only take account of the interests of both parties during the consultation, but also guarantee legal and emotional assistance.

Frequently asked questions

What are the special areas of Law & More?

Besides our main practice areas, Law & More offers several specific services: business lawyer services, the Eurasia and CIS Desk, interim lawyer services, Pharma and Life Sciences, and mediation. These services combine legal knowledge of a sector or region with the practical needs of the client.

What is the Eurasia and CIS Desk?

The Eurasia and CIS Desk assists businesses and individuals from Eurasia and the CIS region with Dutch and international legal matters. We advise in Dutch and English, and our staff also speak Russian and Turkish for first contact. Meetings can take place in Eindhoven, in Amsterdam or by video.

What does an interim lawyer do?

An interim lawyer supports your organisation temporarily, for example to cover a vacancy in your legal department or a peak in workload. The lawyer handles your legal matters as part of your team for an agreed period. Rates are agreed in advance, at 250 to 400 euros per hour excluding VAT.

Which matters do you handle in Pharma and Life Sciences?

We assist companies in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors with legal questions such as contracts, regulatory compliance and product liability. These sectors are subject to fast-changing EU and Dutch rules. We advise in Dutch and English and often work for international clients.

How does mediation at Law & More work?

In mediation, a mediator helps the parties reach a joint solution instead of going to court. The mediator guides the discussions and keeps both legal and practical interests in view. Mediation is often used in family, employment and business disputes. Costs are agreed in advance, and the introductory meeting is free of charge.
