Grounds for divorce

If divorce by mutual consent is not an option, you may consider unilaterally initiating divorce proceedings on the grounds of the irreparable disruption of the marriage. The marriage is irreparably disrupted when the continuation of cohabitation between the spouses and its resumption has become reasonably impossible because of that disruption. Concrete facts indicating the irreparable disruption of the marriage may be, for example, adultery or no longer living together in a marital home.
