It is very hard to imagine our life without Internet. It makes our life easy, but on the other hand, carries a lot of risks. The technologies are developing rapidly and the cybercrime-rate is rising.

Dijkhoff (Deputy State Secretary of the Nederlands) notes in Cybersecuritybeeld Nederland 2017 that the Dutch digital resilience is not up to date. According to Dijkhoff, everybody – government, business and citizen – is required to keep the Netherlands digitally safe. Public-private cooperation, investing in knowledge and research, the creation of a special fund – these are the most important areas of focus when talking about cybersecurity.
