Immigration Lawyer in Eindhoven
Law & More is based in Eindhoven and handles Dutch immigration matters for internationals and employers in the Brainport region and beyond. We deal with regular residence: permits, work, family, Dutch nationality and objections against IND decisions. We work in Dutch and English.
What we do
Employees and their families come to us for a residence permit, for family reunification and for naturalisation or the option procedure. Employers instruct us on the highly skilled migrant scheme, the EU Blue Card and recognised sponsorship. When an application is refused or a permit withdrawn, we conduct the objection and appeal. An overview of the practice is on our immigration lawyer page.
Employers in the Brainport region
Eindhoven and the surrounding municipalities host a dense cluster of technology companies, suppliers and scale-ups that recruit from outside the EU. The questions repeat themselves: is recognition as a sponsor necessary, which salary threshold applies, what has to be reported when a role, a salary or an employment ends, and how should the records be kept so that an IND audit holds no surprises. We set that up and act when there is an audit visit, a fine or an intended withdrawal of the recognition.
For the employee we look at the family in the same matter, so that a partner or child does not end up in a separate procedure afterwards. Partners of highly skilled migrants often want to know whether they may work here without restriction; that depends on the permit granted, and it is worth settling before the move.
Deadlines worth knowing
The IND decides on a residence application within 90 days, a period that can be extended by up to six months where advice or investigation by third parties or the public prosecution service is needed (Article 25 Aliens Act 2000). An objection or appeal must be lodged within four weeks (Article 69). Those four weeks are short, so send us the decision itself rather than a summary.
What it costs
We work on an hourly basis: 250-350 euro for a lawyer and 300-400 euro for a partner, excluding VAT. The first introductory meeting is free of charge. IND fees are charged separately and are published on ind.nl. Law & More does not work on legal aid (toevoeging).

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to come to Eindhoven?
No. We handle immigration matters throughout the Netherlands and most of them entirely remotely. If you would rather meet, you are welcome at the office or, by appointment, at our visiting location in Amsterdam.
In which languages can we work?
Our lawyers work in Dutch and English. Colleagues at the office also speak German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Arabic and Turkish, which helps with first contact and with explaining a procedure.
Can you advise our company on sponsorship?
Yes. We prepare the application for recognition as a sponsor, set up the reporting and record-keeping duties, and represent employers during an IND audit or against a fine, a suspension or a withdrawal.
Do you handle asylum cases?
No. Law & More does not handle asylum cases. For an asylum procedure, contact the Juridisch Loket or VluchtelingenWerk Nederland; during the asylum procedure you are entitled to a lawyer through the Legal Aid Board.
