Disclaimer
Law & More B.V. | Version in force as of 7 September 2026
This website is operated by Law & More B.V. This disclaimer sets out the terms on which the website and its content are made available. By using the website you accept these terms. Where an engagement is entered into, our General Terms and Conditions apply in addition to this disclaimer, and those terms prevail in the event of a conflict.
Who operates this website
Law & More B.V. is a private limited company with its registered office in Eindhoven, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 27313406. Our main office is at Marconilaan 13, 5612 HM Eindhoven; we also receive clients at Pietersbergweg 291, 1105 BM Amsterdam. Every lawyer practising at Law & More is subject to the Dutch Act on Advocates (Advocatenwet), the Regulations of the Netherlands Bar (Verordening op de advocatuur) and the rules of conduct that apply to the profession.
General information, not legal advice
The articles, guides and other material on this website describe Dutch law in general terms. They are written for a broad readership and cannot take account of the facts of an individual case. Whether a rule applies to your situation, and what it means for you, depends on circumstances that only come out in a conversation about your file. Nothing on this website is legal advice, and no one should act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of what is published here without obtaining advice on their own position.
No lawyer-client relationship
Reading this website, using the contact form or sending us an email does not create a lawyer-client relationship. An engagement arises only once we have accepted it and confirmed it in writing, after the conflict check and the identification required of us have been completed. Until that moment we cannot act for you, and we do not monitor any limitation period or other deadline on your behalf. If a deadline is approaching, say so expressly when you contact us and telephone as well.
Accuracy and currency of the content
We compile the content of this website with care and update it as legislation and case law develop. Dutch law nevertheless changes continuously, and a text that was correct when it was published may be superseded by a new act, an amended regulation or a later judgment. We therefore give no warranty that the content is complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose. Where an article names a date, an amount or a threshold, verify it against the current source before relying on it.
Liability
Law & More accepts no liability for loss of any kind arising from the use of this website, from reliance on its content, or from the temporary unavailability of the site. This exclusion does not affect liability for damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, and it does not limit any right you have under mandatory law. Liability arising from an engagement is governed by our General Terms and Conditions, which contain a limitation to the amount paid out under our professional indemnity insurance.
Links to other websites
This website contains links to legislation, case law and other external sources. Those pages are maintained by third parties. We select them because they are useful at the time of writing, but we have no control over their content or availability and accept no responsibility for either. A link is not an endorsement of the organisation behind it.
Intellectual property
The texts, images, layout and other material on this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights held by Law & More or by its licensors. The name Law & More and our logo are our trade marks. You may quote briefly from an article for the purpose of citation, provided the source is named and a link to the original page is included. Reproducing whole articles, republishing them elsewhere or using them to train or populate another service is not permitted without our prior written consent.
Language versions and translations
Our content is published in English on lawandmore.eu and in Dutch on lawandmore.nl. Other language versions of this website are produced by automated translation and are offered for convenience only. Automated translation is not reliable for legal terminology, and a translated page may render a Dutch legal concept by a term that means something different in another jurisdiction. In case of any difference, the English text on lawandmore.eu prevails for the English site and the Dutch text on lawandmore.nl for the Dutch site.
Personal data and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Statement, and the cookies this website uses are described in our Cookie Policy. Both documents form part of the terms on which the website is made available.
Contacting us by email
Email and web forms travel over the internet and cannot be regarded as a confidential channel. We cannot guarantee that a message reaches us, that it reaches us intact or that it is read within a particular period. Do not send information you regard as highly sensitive by unencrypted email, and do not rely on an email alone where a matter is urgent. A message that has not been confirmed by us has not been received by us.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our work or with the way you have been treated, we would like to hear it. Our Complaints Procedure explains how a complaint is handled, who deals with it and within what period you can expect an answer.
Applicable law
Dutch law governs this disclaimer and the use of this website. Any dispute arising from it will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to the arrangements agreed in our General Terms and Conditions.
Questions about this disclaimer
Questions about this page can be put to us through the contact page or by telephoning our Eindhoven office. We review this disclaimer periodically and publish the date of the version in force at the top of the page.
